What to Expect when Playing for a Kelly Post Club Team

Fall (September to November)

Weekly practices
Local Scrimmages with other local club teams
Stick Skills/Footwork Sessions
Fall Tournaments

Winter (December, January, February)

5-7 winter practice Sessions in Loyola Airdome
Stick Skills Clinics
Position Clinics

Spring (March to mid May)

Spring Season - practices to begin after March 1st for 2 days a week for generally 1-1.5 hours on turf
Training Sessions with Club Coaches and Coach Lee
Games will be on Sunday in the Greater Howard County Lacrosse League

Summer (Mid May to End of June/early July)

One or two practices per week

Kelly Post In House Rec Program Registration will re-open for the 2025 season in November of 2024.

The Place to Practice and Play... the Right Way

At Kelly Post, we take our role as ambassadors of the game seriously. We also do our best to provide the highest quality introduction to the game with an emphasis on the fundamental skills that make the game so much fun. We are planning meetings with our coaches and looking forward to a super Spring season. We've got a few new programs that may be of interest to you!

KP Tiny

(DOB 9/1/19-3/1/20) NEW!!! COED!!! - 4-Year-old Program

Each registered player will receive a New Warrior Warp stick or similar.
Each player will receive a KP TINY Lacrosse T-Shirt.
Play times: Saturday Mornings, TBD Meadowood Park.
Cost: $180

Ducks

(DOB 9/1/17 - 8/31/19) In-house

Each registered player will receive a New Warrior Warp stick or similar.
Each player will receive a KP Boys Lacrosse T-Shirt in their team color.
8 to 10 players per team
Practices: (1) per week (6 to 7:00pm) Meadowood Park.
Game times: 1:00 or 2:15pm on Saturdays at Dumbarton MS
Cost: $180

Clinic

(DOB 9/1/16 - 8/31/17) In-house

Each player will receive a KP Boys Lacrosse Reversible pinnie and shorts.
Full equipment required for practice and games.
10 to 13 players per team.
Practices M/W or Tu/Th (6 to 7:15pm) Meadowood Park.
Game times: 2:30 or 4:00pm on Saturdays at Dumbarton MS (Middle Fields)
Cost: $250

Tyker

(DOB 9/1/2014 - 8/31/2016) In-house

Each player will receive a KP Boys Lacrosse Reversible pinnie and shorts.
Full equipment required for practice and games.
10 to 13 players per team
Practices M/W or Tu/Th (6 to 7:15pm) (we coordinate w/TRC Baseball) Meadowood Park.
Game times: 1:30 or 2:45pm on Saturdays at Meadowood Park (Field #2)
Cost: $250

Recreational Travel Teams

Kelly Post Rec Travel Teams Registration will re-open for the 2025 season in November of 2024.

Lightning

(DOB 9/1/2012 - 8/31/2014) In-house

Each player will receive a KP Boys Lacrosse Reversible pinnie and shorts.
Full equipment required for practice and games.
18 to 25 players per team
Weeknight Practices typically at Meadowood Park.
Game times: Vary
Cost: $450

Mids

(DOB 9/1/2010 - 8/31/2012) In-house

Each player will receive a KP Boys Lacrosse Reversible Jersey and shorts.
Full equipment required for practice and games.
18 to 25 players per team
Weeknight Practices typically at Meadowood Park. (either 6 or 7:30pm)
