Rec In-House

What is In-House?

In-House is defined by the fact that players in this league only play against other teams in our local Kelly Post League.  Typically, there is very little, if any travel involved.  Kelly Post provides a solid foundation for players to advance their skills, knowledge, and love for the game.  From modified MYLA rules to the time we take to teach skills correctly, we are different, and you'll see the difference.  Be a part of the storied tradition and join us for an exciting season ahead.  At KP you'll know that our program fits for your son.  In positive, patient, and supportive ways our leaders and coaches get to know your child. Be part of the KP Family.

Kelly Post Lacrosse offers the biggest and best in-house program in the area.  In-house programs are focused on fun and learning, with all competitions held against other KP players.

We offer four levels of play:

KP Tiny (DOB 9/1/19 - 3/1/20) NEW!!! COED!!!- 4-Year-old Program:
A fun way to get your future lacrosse star used to holding a stick and creating a lifetime love for the game.  Sessions will be held Saturday mornings at Meadowood Park.  Players will be provided with a Warrior Warp Jr. lacrosse stick and a Kelly Post Lacrosse T-Shirt.

Ducks (DOB 9/1/17 - 8/31/19):
An introduction to lacrosse, with a focus on basic stick skills and fun. This is a non-contact program without pads. Sessions will be held on Saturdays in April and May for one hour at Dumbarton Middle School in the early afternoon. Players will be provided with a Warrior Warp Jr. lacrosse stick as part of their registration.

Clinic (DOB 9/1/16 - 8/31/17):
This is the first introduction to full pad, limited contact lacrosse. Teams will practice one night per week at Towson High School, and play one hour games in the afternoons on Saturdays at Dumbarton Middle School in April and May.

Tyker In-House (DOB 9/1/2014 - 8/31/2016):
This is the next step up for kids in Clinic, but is still a good option for first-time players as well. Kids play in pads, practice two nights per week (likely at Meadowood) and play games in the late afternoon on Saturdays at Dumbarton Middle School in April and May. All-star teams will be formed to play in tournaments, and players will be given option to join Tyker Select, a supplemental training program that gets boys ready for travel and club competition.
